Team Standards

Below are the standards established by the Endpoint Worship leadership team. These guidelines reflect the heart and integrity of our ministry.

Accountability Levels

We believe that integrity is essential at every level of ministry. Scripture reminds us that “not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly” (James 3:1). With greater influence and responsibility comes a higher standard of accountability.

  • All team members (volunteers, musicians, tech crew, and support roles) are expected to fully uphold these standards as we serve together. These guidelines are not burdensome rules, but shared commitments that help us honor God, love one another, and maintain a healthy, unified ministry environment.

  • The leadership team is held to these same standards and to an even higher level of accountability. Because we carry greater responsibility and our lives are more visible to the team, we willingly embrace increased transparency and oversight. This includes regular personal accountability conversations, open sharing about our spiritual walk, financial stewardship, relationships, and personal conduct. We also accept stricter consequences if standards are violated, understanding that our example sets the tone for the entire ministry. Our desire is never to appear perfect, but to visibly pursue Christlike character with humility and authenticity.

We take these standards seriously and ask that every person serving with Endpoint Worship commit to upholding them. We are all on this journey together, encouraging, supporting, and sharpening one another. If any of us fall short, we commit to addressing it with grace, truth, love, and a genuine pathway toward restoration and healing whenever possible.

Lifestyle

Pursue a Growing Relationship with Christ
We are worshipers first. Each team member is expected to maintain a personal, vibrant walk with Jesus through regular prayer, Bible reading, and personal worship outside of Sunday services.

Live with Integrity and Above Reproach
As visible leaders on the platform, we strive to live a godly lifestyle that honors Christ both publicly and privately. We commit to avoiding even the appearance of evil and pursuing holiness in our speech, behavior, and choices.

Guard Our Hearts and Relationships
We will protect our hearts from immorality, pride, anger, addiction, or anything that could hinder our testimony. This includes maintaining sexual purity, healthy boundaries in relationships, and freedom from substance abuse.

Demonstrate Humility and Unity
We choose to walk in humility, avoid gossip or division, and treat one another with grace and encouragement. A teachable spirit and unity within the team are essential as we serve together.

Be an Example in Word and Deed
We recognize that our lives speak louder than our songs. We commit to being positive examples in our speech, attitudes, social media presence, and daily conduct, reflecting the character of Christ to the church and the world.

Scheduling

Prioritize Team Practices and Services
We treat worship team rehearsals, soundchecks, and services as high-priority commitments. Team members are expected to arrive on time and be fully prepared for every scheduled rehearsal and event.

Communicate Promptly and Honestly
If you need to miss a rehearsal or service, notify the worship leader or team coordinator as early as possible — ideally at least 48 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations should be rare and only due to genuine emergencies.

Plan Ahead and Protect Your Schedule
We ask that you carefully manage your personal calendar to avoid frequent conflicts with worship team responsibilities. Consistent availability is essential for building a reliable and unified team.

Respond to Scheduling Requests Quickly
Reply to scheduling messages, availability surveys, and team communications within 24 hours. Timely responses help the leadership plan effectively and show respect for everyone’s time.

Commit to the Full Event
Once scheduled, we expect team members to remain for the entire event unless otherwise discussed. Partial attendance or frequent early departures are not acceptable unless pre-approved.

Age Requirements

We generally require team members to be 18 years of age or older. While exceptions may occasionally be made, no one younger than 16 is eligible to serve on the worship team.

Compensation

The majority of our team serves as volunteers. Although compensation is not standard, it may occasionally be offered depending on factors such as leadership responsibilities, specialized skills (e.g., in-demand instruments), or travel distance.

All compensation is determined and approved on a case-by-case basis by the Endpoint Worship leadership team.

Team Values

Work Well with Others

We celebrate that our team is made up of people with different personalities and backgrounds. A willingness to collaborate with humility and grace is essential. Please consider this carefully before joining the team.

Maintain Unity and Avoid Negativity

Talking negatively or gossiping about other team members will not be tolerated. If you have any concerns or issues, please bring them directly and privately to Endpoint Worship leadership.

Be A Godly Example

As members of Endpoint Worship, you represent Christ and this ministry both on and off the platform. We place a high value on your public witness, particularly on social media. Be mindful of what you post, like, comment on, or share across all platforms. Avoid content that could be divisive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with a Christ-centered life.

Follow Leadership

We expect all team members to respectfully follow the direction and guidance of the Endpoint Worship leadership team.

Core Values

  • Jesus at the Center — Everything we do exists to exalt the name of Jesus above all.

  • Surrender — We believe true worship begins when we come to the end of ourselves and fully yield to God at the Cross.

  • Encounter — We prioritize creating space for genuine, transformative experiences in the presence of God rather than just singing songs.

  • Transformation — We expect lives to be changed — chains broken, healing released, passion ignited and hope renewed.

  • Humility — We serve with open hearts, pointing people to Jesus instead of ourselves.

  • Excellence — We offer our very best to God and His people, honoring Him in every detail.

Core Beliefs

We believe:

  • The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and the foundation for all we sing, say, and do.

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died on the Cross, rose again, and is worthy of all our worship and surrender.

  • Worship is far more than music — it is a lifestyle of wholehearted response to God’s unending grace.

  • The Holy Spirit actively moves in our gatherings, bringing freedom, healing, and fresh encounters with God.

  • Every person — regardless of age or background — is invited to a deeper relationship with God through authentic worship.

  • We are called “for such a time as this” to ignite passion for Jesus and see His presence usher in lasting change in individuals and communities.
